Rafe brings over two decades of experience coaching leaders and their teams to unfold their full potential. He has worked with leaders in technology, finance, education, and nonprofit organizations. Rafe specializes in guiding individuals to navigate challenging life transitions with resilience.
Rafe’s career began working with best-selling author and life coach, Anthony Robbins, training thousands of sales executives in the art and science of strategic influence. After graduate school, where he earned a MA and PhD in Organizational Psychology, he worked with Mariposa Leadership as a leadership coach and organization development consultant with Silicon Valley companies. Rafe specializes in coaching clients to develop a centered leadership presence that embodies authenticity, integrity, accountability, and effectiveness.
In 2004 Rafe had a life-altering experience. While traveling on a spiritual retreat in India, he fell from a building and broke his neck. In an instant, he became a quadriplegic, paralyzed from the chest down. In that single moment, his life was transformed from “having it all” to “losing everything” – or so it seemed. Rafe has spent nearly two decades learning how to heal trauma and transform it into evolutionary growth.
Rafe lives in Berkeley, California and enjoys meditating, traveling, inspiring films, and spending time in nature.
