As a member of the advisory board for a)plan Coaching, I bring an experience in leading and nurturing global enterprises across various consumer sectors, including apparel, footwear, home, and beauty and non profit. This venture was a natural progression from my earlier co-founding role at Norwest Industries Ltd., which has since evolved into the PDS Multinational business, marking a significant footprint in international apparel manufacturing and trading.
My academic foundation in economics was laid at Northwestern’s Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, further solidified by an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. I recently completed the Women on Boards: Succeeding as a Corporate Director (WOB) program at Harvard Business School in November 2023.
My career trajectory also includes a strategic stint as an analyst with Lehman Brothers’ Equity Capital Markets group in Hong Kong, and Morgan Stanley London in Equity Sales where I honed my analytical and financial acumen. In 2007, I ventured into the luxury property and design sector, founding Casa Forma Limited, which has garnered international acclaim for its architectural and interior design excellence. My passion for social impact led me to establish Soham For Kids, a charitable foundation dedicated to educational initiatives in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, solidifying my commitment to leveraging entrepreneurship for societal benefit. More recently, I founded Avantguard, a brand that marries luxury with sustainability in the accessories and athleisure space.
Residing between Hong Kong and London with my husband and our three children, Alif, Ayat, and Aria, I am deeply committed to fostering innovation, excellence, and social responsibility in all my endeavors. My diverse experience and global perspective enhance my role on the Plan Coaching advisory board, where I aim to contribute to shaping the future of coaching and development with a keen eye on sustainable and impactful growth.
